Family Care Missions was founded in April 2001 -- Registration Number SOC/39954

Family Care Missions is comprised of a group of dedicated Kenyan and Foreign volunteers who give their time to helping the underprivileged and disadvantaged of society. Through a number of services such as Counseling and Training, Sourcing of Sponsorships through networking with the local business community, Raising Awareness, providing urgent Nutritional Needs for people living with HIV/AIDS, Single Parents and Teenage-led Households, volunteers of FCM have been instrumental in changing lives over the years.

In collaboration with various Aid Organizations, County Councils, Churches and staff from local Hospitals, the following services are being rendered: Food Aid, organizing and attending Free Medical Camps, Orphan Education, providing Counseling and Volunteers to assist in Famine Relief Projects and creating Awareness through various Community Outreach Programs.

Projects of Family Care Missions have reached remote areas in Kwale, Kipsigis, Mwingi and Machakos Districts, Tigania East and West, Tana River and the Rift Valley. Thousands of desperate people have been benefitting from the services offered.

Family Care Missions is also promoting several Income Generating Activities such as sewing, artifacts and small farming projects.

The FCM Board of Directors is an important governance mechanism to oversee the various activities carried out by its members. The primary role of the FCM Board of Directors is to provide strategic guidance.
